Front yard beautification is one of the more common types of installations for Heavenly Greens.
Often, these types of projects come to us as result of the home owner completing stone or masonry work and left with the decision of whether or not replace their real grass with some type of artificial turf product. After meeting with Kara, one of our Turf Consultants – the home owners chose to go with one of our Multi-tone (different colored blades) in-fill turf products. When we describe Infill products, we are referring to the sand and rubber mixture that sits on top of the product and is primarily used to support and hold the blades up in an effort to have the product look more natural.
Infill products are generally softer to walk on over time, while the infil itself has the additional benefit of blocking out UV rays that can damage the backing or the material that the blades are woven into. Other options include thatch or non-infill products that just require sand to weight and hold the material down.
