While we are most often known for our residential installations, some of our most exciting work is on commercial properties. De Anza College is definitely one of the most prominent community colleges in the entire South Bay Area. They got in touch with us to install a putting green behind the outfield. We ended up installing around 750 square feet of some of our premiere putting green turf, and it looks great!
Alpha Dog is one of the top of the line dog facilities in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Located in beautiful Marin County, this facility is perfect for getting your dogs pampered and safe. They reached out to us, knowing that we were very reputable for our dog turf. They ended up going with our Pedigree product, which make sense, given that it's artificial turf designed specifically for dogs. The end result is spectacular!
Nestled in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District, the Friends School is a testament to urban architecture. They knew that they needed some kind of surface for their playground, but weren't quite sure which artificial turf product to choose. They ended up selecting our HG Active product, which stays upright under heavy foot traffic, yet it's soft enough to absorb falls. All in all, this is one of our most aesthetic installations, and we know it'll be excellent for the students of the Friends School for years to come!
Some of our more interesting commercial work is what we do for rooftop installations. Depending on job site accessibility, we either transport the turf up or use a crane to hoist the turf onto the roof. We have done multiple rooftop installations, particularly in San Francisco. This is one of our older jobs, but we are assured by our customer that it still looks amazing, even today!
This is one of our many installations that we've done at wineries in Sonoma County. The Dutton Winery is one of the premier wineries and is used for many events like weddings and corporate parties. They went with one of our most popular products, HG Fescue. With common areas that receive a lot of foot traffic, artificial turf is always one of the best decisions, because it requires minimal maintenance. With natural grass, it gets destroyed by all of the activity and needs to be consistently replaced. But now they have an amazing common area that's perfect for events of all sizes!
Napa County is known for its breathtaking landscapes, and of course, its world class wine. The Meadowood resort is located in St Helena and is one of most impressive vacation destinations in the world. They contacted us to build a multi-purpose recreational field, so we used one of our most popular products – HG Fescue. Now, it looks absolutely stunning! They are currently using it as a driving range, but we'll see what the future has in store for them!
This is one of our most famous installations. It was done for the Humane Society of Silicon Valley in Milpitas. Our turf is enjoyed by many, many dogs every single day. As we all know, kids need wide open areas to play. Unfortunately, with natural lawns, heavy activity can kill the grass, just leaving mud and dirt. This preschool was tired of kids tracking dirt and mud into the school room, so they decided to go with artificial turf. We ended up installing our play pad underneath so that the kids are more protected from falls. The final result is that the kids have a safe place to play without making a huge mess.
This installation was done for Camp Kennolyn, in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. The property is primarily used as a summer camp for kids, but has also been used for events such as weddings, private parties, and family reunions. We ended up going with our HG Fescue product because of its natural beauty, versatility, and durability. Kids will be constantly playing on our turf as soon as this summer!
The Lafayette Public Library was looking for an entire aesthetic overhaul. They contacted us to add turf to their outdoor seating area, so that it felt more like an amphitheater. The selected our HG Fescue product because of its durability and versatility. The eventual result? A perfect example of how artificial grass can bring beauty and functionality to any application!
