Napa County is known for its breathtaking landscapes, and of course, its world class wine. The Meadowood resort is located in St Helena and is one of most impressive vacation destinations in the world. They contacted us to build a multi-purpose recreational field, so we used one of our most popular products – HG Fescue. Now, it looks absolutely stunning! They are currently using it as a driving range, but we'll see what the future has in store for them!
This is one of our most famous installations. It was done for the Humane Society of Silicon Valley in Milpitas. Our turf is enjoyed by many, many dogs every single day. As we all know, kids need wide open areas to play. Unfortunately, with natural lawns, heavy activity can kill the grass, just leaving mud and dirt. This preschool was tired of kids tracking dirt and mud into the school room, so they decided to go with artificial turf. We ended up installing our play pad underneath so that the kids are more protected from falls. The final result is that the kids have a safe place to play without making a huge mess.
This installation was done for Camp Kennolyn, in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. The property is primarily used as a summer camp for kids, but has also been used for events such as weddings, private parties, and family reunions. We ended up going with our HG Fescue product because of its natural beauty, versatility, and durability. Kids will be constantly playing on our turf as soon as this summer!
The Lafayette Public Library was looking for an entire aesthetic overhaul. They contacted us to add turf to their outdoor seating area, so that it felt more like an amphitheater. The selected our HG Fescue product because of its durability and versatility. The eventual result? A perfect example of how artificial grass can bring beauty and functionality to any application!
This is from one of our most high-profile installations. It's installed at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The mini-baseball field is in the Coca-Cola section, so that kids can play at the game. In addition to our baseball diamond, there are two gigantic slides. Clearly, artificial turf can be used for a variety of applications. The only limit is your imagination!
The Renaissance Lodge in Sonoma is one of the premiere wineries for wedding venues in beautiful Sonoma County. They reached out to us to get artificial turf in one of the common areas so that it would always look good. They were tired of having to maintain the natural grass and knew that turf was a perfect solution for keeping their area looking great. After we finished, we knew that we had created something really special.
This is one of our most famous commercial putting green installations. We have done a lot of work with Silicon Valley tech companies, specifically Google. They requested that we install an on-site putting green for their employees. After going through our options of putting green turf and fringe material, they decided to go with our Pro-Putting Green product, as well as our Versa Lush product for the green's fringe. The result? An amazing putting green surface for their employees to use year-round, without fear of the grass dying.
This job was one of the most complicated projects we’ve had in our 16 years of service in the turf industry. This was an installation we did on a rooftop for a school in San Francisco. This job required us to lift thousands of tons of base rock onto the roof with a crane, not to mention the turf. The school wanted a recreational area on the roof, due to a lack of space for kids during recess. The final result is this stunning landscape, right in the middle of San Francisco.
A while back, the Campbell Unified School asked us to install turf at 5 of their elementary schools. This was during the height of the drought, and it was becoming far too expensive to maintain and was getting dangerous for children. Well, the drought is currently in a state of remission, but making play areas child safe is always important! We have padding products that go under the turf so that children can stay safe, even if they take a spill.
