Why Pets Love Artificial Grass

HG-why-pets-love-blog

We love our pets, just as if they were family members. Because they are family members. So, just as you want a lawn that meets all of your aesthetic requirements and meets all your children’s requirements for fun and games, you want grass that meets with approval from your four-legged kids, too. When you choose artificial grass, you can count on pleasing everyone.

Why is artificial grass so popular with pets?

It’s soft and fluffy for snoozing

Dogs and cats learned from their ancient ancestors that rest is essential. They may not remember all their ancestral instincts, but they sure do know how to nap. And, comfy as the pillows are on your bed, when they’re outdoors, pets love a nice grassy space to rest. Artificial grass, preferably. It’s always lush and inviting, no matter the season or weather.

It’s safe for pets, no matter how much rough-housing you do

OK, so pets don’t really consider safety. But their humans do, and every dog wants to please their parents, so they’ll look at you adoringly as you explain that artificial grass is safer than natural grass.

It’s the perfect flooring for play areas

While pets can romp and rest on the artificial grass in front of your home or in the backyard, they really love having their very own run. You can build that to virtually any specs – as long as artificial grass is planted underfoot. Purrfect.

It’s so much cleaner

Your cat is definitely on board with this, since even the merest dampness can be cause for consternation if it comes in contact with feline paws. Your dog? Well, dirt is just part of life for most dogs. However, not many love having their paws cleaned before they’re allowed to come into the house. Especially if they’re being scolded for getting muddy and tracking in grass clippings and other debris. It’s not like they can take off their shoes like you do. Artificial gets the woof/meow of approval because it doesn’t make mud or mess.

No one yells at them for digging holes

Because they can’t. With natural grass, however, dogs and cats can scratch through the turf in no time, leaving behind ugly dead patches, holes to trip up unsuspecting humans, and more yard repair work for you.

That scary lawnmower thing has disappeared

What a relief to be rid of that noisy monster that used to make a weekly foray into the yard, scaring the fur off poor Fido or Fluffy.

The sprinklers are gone, too

And what a relief, say pets, to relieve oneself without getting soaked when the sprinklers come on just as you’re trying to have a private potty moment. Sheesh!

Your pet parents have more time to pay with you

What a disappointment life used to be when the lawn was natural grass. Every time poor Fluffy or Fido wanted some serious me-time with their humans, the humans chose – chose! – to mow instead of throw the ball or dangle a catnip mouse. Now that they aren’t tied down with all that dumb lawn maintenance stuff, they can finally get their priorities straight. Let’s play!

And that’s not all!
