Unique Ways To Use Artificial Grass

What’s another way to spell “artificial grass”? V-E-R-S-A-T-I-L-E. Modern artificial grass is designed to look, feel, and function just like the real thing. And it does. But there are so many things you can do with fake grass beyond the obvious uses. All it takes is a little imagination.

Yes, it is grass

You can “plant” artificial grass anywhere you would plant natural-growing grass, and use it in all the same ways. Lawns. Putting greens. Sports fields. Playgrounds. Commercial and public venues as well as residential yards. These are all standard uses for synthetic turf – applications for which this product has become wildly popular because it really is better than natural grass.

But, like the Starship Enterprise, artificial grass can go where no live grass has gone before. Or ever will go. This is stellar news for any creative person.

Artificial grass is essentially a type of carpet

You can use it to replace any type of traditional flooring inside the house, especially rooms that could use a burst of fun – your kid’s bedroom, a sunroom or screened porch, the guys-only man cave or the basement play room. It’s easy to install and clean.

Artificial grass is a textile

It’s flexible and lightweight and easy to work with. Use it to replace upholstery or other fabric you might use to cover virtually anything. You can use it indoors or out, forming it over any rounded or angled surface. Walls and ceilings, look out!

You can easily cut artificial grass into shapes galore. Don’t want to fully carpet the sunroom or your child’s bedroom? Cut out an area rug. Make it a star, or a dinosaur, with dino tracks heading up the wall.

Like other textiles, fake grass comes in colors galore, too. Natural grass comes in just one color, green (although different varieties of grass do present somewhat different shades of green). Artificial grass can be any color you want (and, yes, it does come in different shades of green, too). That means you can coordinate it with any décor, including that purple shade your daughter is so fond of. Or Barbie’s favorite pink. Or your favorite sports team’s official colors.

Artificial grass is a building material

This means you can use it to add textural interest, dimension, and eye-catching allure to almost anything. Perhaps someplace elevated such as a rooftop garden or balcony. Or hardscapes such as walkways, a garden path, or your driveway (artificial grass combines beautifully and sustainably with permeable pavers). So much prettier and cooler, in every sense of the word.

Artificial grass is a favorite with pets.

There’s no reason for humans to keep all the benefits of fake grass to themselves. Dogs and cats sing the praises of artificial grass because it’s cleaner, drier, and much softer than whatever else they might find to play or snooze on outdoors. So what better way to show your pet love than by creating a dandy dog run or a comfy catio featuring artificial grass?

Whatever you want to do with artificial grass, there’s a product just right for that!
